This is not a technical support forum, but a user-to-user forum. The bug reporter window should not disappear - but should remain open displaying the crash number which should be reported to technical support. For what its worth, I've never heard of an issue like this, much less happening on two different machines.
Assuming both are Windows 10, there must be something else you have installed that is causing the issue. Anyway, do contact your local tech support. From user-to-user!!! Hi, i have the same problem.
When i want to use menu buttons or right click on mouse, ArchiCAD crash. The same, bug report window disappear for blink. I talk with experts and trying everything what thei told me. The conclusion for this moment is problem with Windows. It is possible due to a new update. Soon I will know more. Exactly same issue here. Same issues here, from 5 days on. Tried everything apart from formatting my PC, which would be a very annoying way to try to resolve the problem.

Alex I know you are. Are you all using version 22? Have you tried other versions of Archicad? I have no answer as I am not having trouble with any Archicad versions myself.
Just trying to narrow down the cause. Maybe it would be a good idea for you all to list your machine specs. One of the forum moderators. Versions 6. My reseller said no similar problems have been found yet, I suppose it's a conflict between some. My pc is newly build. I've tried both 21 and 22 versions. Funny thing is, same Archicad download works perfectly on my laptop. USD 10 to a bank account you fill out when submitting the report would be neat D a m n right it would be - I'd be a millionaire!!
I think you are right Ignacio, you should be able to turn off the Bug Reporter if you want to. I never would because for a few seconds of my time usually somewhere between wondering what the heck just happened and entering recovery mode I think we are lucky to have such a direct communication with the programmers. Every program crashes, and how much you notice it probably depends on how much time you spend using it. But as Rakela said, you can simply delete GSReport.

Furthermore, you do have the tracking number, so if you do have a persistent problem and your pet crash, you can follow up - after all, if a problem reccurs, it is more time consuming NOT to address it than to address it. I know I don't want to send the same report several times a day. But that is not the issue: the thing is I don't want to be having to click to say 'No, I don't want to send the report' every time ArchiCAD crashes, several times a day.
That option is what I would like to see as a Preference. I would like to be able to say 'no, and just don't ask again', at least until I change my mind and change my Preference. I think it is a very reasonable request, since that is what I will be doing anyway but one crash at a time and several repetitive questions a day. Anything else is wasted effort.
Following advice on the thread I deleted GSReport and a folder with a related name, and I keep getting the question every time I crash --so deleting GSReport is not the solution at least on my system. The crashes I am talking about happen regularly, to everybody, in a large office with a very direct link to Graphisoft. But let us keep the eye on the ball my ball : the discussion about the reason for the crash is different from the discussion about the advantages and returns or not of sending reports to Graphisoft, and that is in turn a separate discussion from the point I am making, which is that one should be able to decide whether or not one wants to be asked about sending the report when AC crashes.

Hi, Thank you for the information! It is strange that subsequent updates are not verified by Apple. We do not encounter any similar issue in the office. Could you let me know in detail which error message did you have when starting the update installer? Some screenshots would be extremely helpful for me! Looking forward to hearing from you!

Make sure you don't rely on autosave to save you. It's bad policy to rely on something like that if it's critical. Start making it a habit of hitting ctrl-s often and then backing up your work to another location on a regular basis length of time determined by how much work you willing to lose for convenience.

I may be new to AC, but 25 yrs of working with pc files and other things, has taught me to be more cautious than most. It's just the way I work. Lec, if you're looking to backup multiple versions of a file, you can look at something like CascadePoint For offsite, have you tried Mozy?
It's cross platform, automated, runs in the background and gives you 2 gigs for free. The feature I like most is that backup sets you create for online storage can additionally be backed up to any local or network drive that has been assigned a letter. When I want to restore the previous version of a file that been screwed up somehow, it's quicker to search the local file system. I like Cascade's auto multiply versions and thanks to you I set that up this morning.
